Our company has been studying and designing innovative technologies for years in the field of defense and environmental monitoring.
One of our professional vocations is to be able to invent possible alternatives that can allow, with innovative but not impossible technologies, application in areas where there is an ever-increasing demand to ensure a healthy plant life and specifically For those plants represented by food for consumers.
There are more and more widespread reports of highly variable climatic effects, but they can lead to healthy plant growth and growth, but still more or less massive disinfestations are still taking place, which, even if they eliminate harmful insects, may deteriorate Quality of food and therefore consumer protection.
The TagTrap® Project was born from analysis studies for the monitoring of environmental parameters for the protection of agricultural plantations such as olives, fruit trees, vegetables and any other plants that can be attacked by insects that are harmful to growth and maturation.
TagTrap®'s technological feature is its ability to be recalled with the help of normal chemical solutions, such as pheromone, insects (the type of flies most appropriately named bactrocera oleae) in an electronic pseudo trap inside which high-sensing sensors Sensitivity and degree of applicability of the 'capacitive' type, can communicate through a network of communication devices directly on a monitor the level of invasion and subsequent health status of the plants.
The core of TagTrap® is also, and decisively, massive disinfestation for the disclosure of insecticides which, however, cause environmental damage and without a guaranteed health protection, without considering the high cost of their applicability. The consequence of using TagTrap® is the attention of the farmer to the application of insecticides only when the propagation and invasion of harmful insects occurs to the individual areas reported by the monitoring systems in question. The system guarantees the consumer's protection in order to avoid the disinfestation that is often harmful to health.
Another feature, given its technological peculiarity, is to allow agro-food traceability by automatically detecting the origin of fruits from specific plants, areas and agricultural areas, while respecting national and European regulations.
When it comes to monitoring, we mean that the applied devices will be detected by electronic sensors that will allow communication to peripheral reading systems that will acquire and process information so that farmers and other operators can generally know in real time useful data To induce them to carry out safeguard actions for plant growth.
That's why we talk about temperatures, humidity etc.
Regarding the control of environmental parameters by means of specific sensors, the TagTrap® system allows to detect the humidity, temperature and other atmospheric agents, and this detection system communicates it through a node of connections to the central system that can highlight any problems that have emerged And the specific areas concerned.
Linking and transmitting information from TagTrap® plants on plants does not require infrastructure and wires or networking connections that would be impossible to handle outside, and it feeds on solar panels.
Plant sensors, virtually a TagTrap sensor every 15/20 plants, communicate among themselves the information automatically detected in the health status of the plants themselves.
Communication takes place through radio frequencies, the pivotal feature of this project is that a communication network is created between the plants, where all the information is then transmitted to a control unit located on the periphery of the monitored crop.
The controller comes with a series of information that, after algorithmic processing, can be communicated via a data line to a central computer system and mobile systems such as Tablet and Smartphone.
The application software will present in addition to the planimetry of monitored areas with graphic highlighting, including static charts with minimum and maximum values, to know the health status of plants and therefore in case of alarm, the possibility of disinfestation intervention.
For this 'TagTrap' project we have registered an Italian Patent and the corresponding Trademark.
We are looking for companies and entrepreneurs who want to acquire the patent in order to develop and industrialize TagTrap devices.
