Chassis design for this type of vehicle began in 1991 on behalf of a company with a long history in the motorsports sector; the chassis, made in most cases with welded C40 steel tubes of square or rectangular cross-section, are fitted with commercial or off-the-shelf engines and suspensions.
In four-wheel minicars (L7) category the aim has always been to provide an urban vehicle of small dimensions but with the technical characteristics of M1 category vehicles, offering comfort and handling performance obtained thanks to the independent McPherson type suspension.
