The AUDIOCAMERA
The AUDIOCAMERA collects information, in the audio and optical band, on the events that occur on the risk scene.
Based on parameters that can be redefined by remote operators in an operating room, it automatically responds to families of spectrally characterizable sound events (for example, explosions, firearm shots, screams), which have a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of at least 20 dB (for the definition dB the definition of the US federal standard applies).
Consequently, the system can be activated both on the basis of the exceeding of a noise threshold and on the basis of the spectral recognition of the sound.
The periodic monitoring of the background noise allows to signal to remote operators noise conditions that do not allow an optimal operation of the system. Likewise, the system is able to report anomalous operations of its components, with predefined error codes.
Sound events are located in time and space and a series of actions are set up which, on the one hand, aim at ensuring the coordination, from a remote operating room, of the intervention of mobile units and, secondly, to guarantee the recording of events for a phase of subsequent investigations.
